Snow White, Global Professional Learning Manager, Dell
Snow began her education career in by receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Texas at Austin in Applied Learning & Development and obtained her Teaching Certificate. From teaching in the classroom to consulting with school districts/entities all across the globe, Snow has worked in supporting students, teachers, and administrators with successful use of technology to meet curriculum and district goals for the last 17 years.
Beginning in 1996, she was the Owner/Director of Futurekids, a computer-learning center in Austin, TX that specialized in basic computing to game design and programming classes for kids 3-15 years. In addition, Futurekids branched out into the public and private schools by providing cutting-edge technology solutions that included a K-12 project-based technology curriculum with scope and sequence and professional development for teachers.
In 2003, Snow joined Dell to assist K12 customers implement technology initiatives into their districts. Her expertise around Professional Development and 21st Century Classrooms has been implemented in programs such as Alaska’s Consortium for Digital Learning, Texas Technology Immersion Project (TIP) schools, Cobb County Schools, Broward County Schools, New York City Department of Education, Hacienda La Puente Schools, Henrico County Public Schools, and numerous districts across the United States, Canada and Latin America.
