Let’s ask kids to try so hard they fail during school, and then let’s ask them to do it again after school. If this sounds disturbing to you, then I urge you to take a closer look at the connection between the learning process and how we foster students’ innovative problem-solving skills. Innovation is about thinking differently, so we can develop creative solutions to problems and new inventions that improve lives. This innovation process fuels economic growth and keeps the U.S. globally competitive.
