Alignment

Innovate+Educate has successfully recruited top education leadership from within many of the high-tech corporations across America to support new approaches for education designed to restore our competitive position globally.  These partners have chosen to collaborate with education and government leaders who share a vision to address our critical need for transforming education.

The Innovate+Educate Board is comprised of top companies in the U.S. including Apple, HP, Intel, Lockheed Martin, HP, Monster, Oracle, Battelle Corporation, Blackboard, Cisco Systems, Dell Computer, Applied Research Associates, Ford Motor Foundation, Qwest and SAS.  Other key board members and partners include TIESteach.org, Gates Foundation STEM states, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.  The National Governor’s Association Center for Best Practices is the primary national partner to Innovate-Educate in advancing STEM across States.

The companies represented by our Board members give over 1 billion dollars in education funding each year. These companies are committed to advancing education across the country.
Innovate+Educate brings these leaders together to ask:

  • How can we learn from one another’s current and past education efforts to create lasting and systemic change?
  • What ways can our programs collaborate to build broader-based reforms?
  • What specific knowledge can our companies contribute to improve education in every school district across the country?
"This is a time when states have exciting opportunities for transformational use of new technologies to improve students' educational outcomes. Innovate-Educate will provide an exciting focus for innovations that enhance curriculum, instruction, assessment, and community involvement in learning."
